This fun activity weekend is being held in association with the Scottish Kennel Club (SKC) and is perfect for members who wish to spend the weekend having fun with their dogs and fellow members.
A full programme will be created for each member, with training in Agility, Handling, Heelwork to Music, Flyball and Obedience, and we ask that you get involved in all activities over the whole weekend. As well as the training, there will also be tons of fun social activities for members to take part in during the day and evening.
This activity weekend will take place from Friday 19th till Sunday 21st July 2019 and is open to joint SKC & YKC members.
The activity weekend will feature dog training for multiple disciplines and a social programme throughout the day and evening.
The weekend is open for all Young Kennel Club members and Scottish Kennel Club Junior members and the cost for camping, training and social activities is £120 per member, £80 for additional member/sibling. For this event, day places are not available.
Spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis.
If the member is under 18 years of age then one accompanying parent/guardian must also attend at no charge.
The weekend will feature a social programme during the evening and non-dog activities during the day so that dogs can have some time to rest.
There will also be a YKC obedience qualifier held on Sunday 21st July 2019 which will allow members to gain points towards Crufts 2020 qualification.
There will also be a YKC grooming qualifier held on Saturday 20th July 2019 which will allow members to gain points towards Crufts 2020 qualification.
There will also be a YKC Crossbreed qualifier held on Saturday 20th July 2019 which will allow members to qualifier for Crufts 2020.
This is a training event and will be held outside on grass. Please make sure you’re comfortable and wear appropriate footwear and clothing. You will also require a tent or Caravan to camp onsite. Only members and accompanying family/guardians can stay onsite.
The venue features plenty of space to camp as well as a permanent toilet and shower block.
