With so much packed in, our dog training days appeal to all dog lovers, and could start your child off on a lifetime hobby. Children enjoy different dog activities, including fun agility and pet dog training, and we are dedicated to keeping the cost of fun as low as possible.
Kids will leave with a bunch of new friends, new interests and bags of confidence, as we encourage all children to take on new challenges - Your child will be counting down the days until the next YKC event!
With Crufts on the horizon, this is the perfect opportunity for handlers who have qualified for Crufts 2020 to get some last minute hints and tips, and also some vital training time before the big day. We are also running handling training classes for beginners.
Our April training will be ideal for those who are competing in Obedience to improve their skills. This will be an advanced class where Mary Ray will be demonstrating and tutoring members on how they can develop their dogs training. Places are limited so make sure you book early.
During Saturday and Sunday of the Birmingham National Dog show held at the Staffordshire showground, the YKC will be hosting two training days for young handlers to improve existing skills, or to try handling for the first time.
On the Wednesday before competitions begin at the International Agility Festival, the YKC will be hosting a training day to get members ready for the long weekend ahead. It would be ideal practise for those competing at the show, but any member is welcome to apply for training.The training will not be suitable to those with no agility experience.
