Training at camp provides challenges and enjoyment for everyone and the best part is that you do not need any previous experience to enjoy all of the brilliant activities that are on offer. Come along and join in with Agility, Handling, Obedience, Rally, Heelwork to Music, Hoopers and scent work. We will also incorporate a learning programme so you can rest your dogs but find out about all things canine!
Members and their dogs spend so much of the day training that we try to give your dogs a break whilst you have team time. With eight Team leaders who are all volunteers and been involved with the YKC for many years. Each team has a team leader to inspire, encourage and help you throughout camp and it is a great chance to get to know one another and make friends. The social programme is an essential part of the Camp experience, and we have some brilliant activities lined up, team building games, BBQ night, quiz night, sports night including some great family nights for everyone on site to get involved!
We will have onsite activities for family members to take part in: Daily Bingo, Puzzle Café, Adult Handling, 50 Points of a Dog Test, Dog Grooming, Team Building Games more to be added! All family members are encouraged to come along to the social evenings and maybe even have your own team!
