Dog agility is an action–packed and hugely exciting sport for you and your dog. It involves loads of obstacles for your dog (not you!) to run through, jump over, and weave in and out of – and all against the clock! Not only does Agility test your dog’s fitness, you can also show off your skills as a handler, directing your dog around the agility course.

The YKC offer lots of different competitions in agility for members to compete in at our ring at Crufts. Some of the classes have qualifiers whereas others require members to gain points an standard Kennel Club licensced shows. The whole point of the YKC classes is to allow certain age ranges to compete against on another (6-11 ; 12-17 ; 18-24), which should level the playing field, as well as allowing members to make friends their own age.
The YKC also create an agility team to compete internationally as part of Team GB at the European Open Juniors event held annually. Each year there is a different host nation, with 2018's competition being held in Holland. If you want to know more about how to apply, click on the button below.
COVID-19 has affected all of the YKC's qualifiers in 2020 (for Crufts 2021). We dont know when we'll be able to have qualifiers running again, so until we know more, we have removed the qualification documents and qualifier dates from our site.
Please stay safe during this time
