Associate Membership

Associate Membership of the Kennel Club may be applied for on reaching the age of 18.  For Young Kennel Club members only, the annual fee for the first full calendar year following such application will be waived by the Kennel Club and each of the three subsequent years’ annual fees will be discounted by 50% on the following conditions:

• The applications is accompanied by an agreement to renew Associateship by Variable Direct Debit, and
• Payments continue to be made by Variable Direct Debit (All fees are inclusive of VAT).

How to Apply

Prospective Associates complete an application form which is forwarded to the Sub-Committee, relevant to the indicated discipline interest. The candidate's names are published in the Kennel Gazette in order that any interested parties can consider and comment on the application. Final approval rests with the General Committee.

Benefits of Membership

As well as receiving a number of Kennel Club publications and admission concessions to Crufts, Associates have the opportunity of participating in the election of Kennel Club Sub-Committees every three years.

The standard fees are as follows:
As a resident of the United Kingdom the annual payment is £90.00 inclusive of VAT.
As a resident overseas the annual payment is £125.00 inclusive of VAT.
