To commemorate our Silver Jubilee year we created a special programme which allows you to have more fun with your dog than ever before.

Show Off Your Superhero Skills

The Superhero competition was such as success at Discover Dogs 2009 that we are going to continue to run it throughout the year at our Activity Weekends, with a grand final at Crufts 2012.  The course will be based on a rally and will include Agility and basic Obedience – and to make it even more special we are asking members taking part to dress up as their favourite SUPERHERO.  To enter a heat and be in which a chance of making the grand final, click onto our Activity Weekends section for the entry forms.

Memory Lane

To celebrate the last twenty five years we are planning to set up a section on the YKC website which looks at current and previous members of the YKC and their successes in the dog world and also featuring them in Fetch magazine.  We are interested in hearing from anyone who is or was a member as we would love to receive pictures, stories, poems, paintings and videos all about being a Young Kennel Club member to celebrate 25 years.   You can either email us at ykc@thekennelclub.org.uk or send in any items to YKC, 1-5 Clarges Street, Piccadilly, London W1J 8AB.  We will return all orginal photographs/paintings etc.
