Kennel Club petition to support responsible dog breeding

You need to be 18 or over to sign this petition

The Kennel Club wants to ensure that every dog’s life can be as happy and healthy as it can be. The best way to achieve this is by encouraging the responsible breeding of dogs and empowering potential puppy buyers to recognise what makes a responsible breeder.

The Kennel Club recognises that most people involved are already responsible dog breeders who care very deeply about the health and welfare of their animals. The Kennel Club wants to support responsible breeders in order to protect the future of pedigree dogs in the UK.

We are taking action and we need you to do the same. Please sign our petition to ensure all breeders follow certain rules and guidelines to ensure the health and wellbeing of all dogs and puppies is protected.

So if you are 18 and over, start making a difference now and help encourage all dogs to be Fit For Function and Fit For Life.

Volunteering

If you are up for a challenge then why not volunteer your skills and help out at the YKC events and activities.  We are always looking for members with training and judging experience to pass on their knowledge to  the younger members.  Contact the YKC office or call 020 7518 1030 to register your services.

Canine Event Management

If you have always wanted to go behind the scenes at shows, we actively promote development within the canine world to ensure that our members are ready to take the lead in the future.  Get involved with stewarding and judge's programmes and play your part in continuing the world of dogs.

Seminars and Workshops

If you have a thirst for knowledge, our workshops and courses give members the chance to polish their skills in a variety or areas ranging from commentating to hands on assessments.
