NAME:Sarah Wadsworth
Ripley, Derbyshire
Agility & I am soon to begin Flyball
Just over a year
I have one dog
SHOWN/COMPETED WITH IN YOUR DISCIPLINE(S)?Only my Cocker Spaniel
Their ability to love you so much & sense when you feel ill or are unhappy, my dogs have been a real outlet for me
Meeting the team at Crufts last year
The chance to meet other like minded people of similar age
I'm fairly new to it all myself!
I have loads & he's not even two yet! My favourite thing that he does is when i'm stressed he puts his head on my lap & you can see in his eyes he is saying 'come on, take a break, you need it, let's go and play!' He is a true outlet for me as I have a bowel problem that really bothers me when I get stressed & he has really helped me to come to terms with it & get out there again. Without him, I would still be moping in bed when i'm in pain but now he depends on me for everything so I get up & walk him & carry on. I wouldn't be without him, I love him to bits!
He's brought more energy into
the household as our other Cocker is very laid back. He has made my parents happier as they have seen the difference he has made to my life & now I can't wait for our first Agility competition!
To the beach because he runs around like a nutter & always goes towards the sea but runs away just as it's about to get him!
Although a dog is a big commitment, I wouldn't swap Rolo for anything. With my hectic university schedule & studying for my PHD he is a wonderful release. The social side of having a dog is unbelievable, you meet so many different people with los of advice, it's great.
