WHAT DOG ACTIVITIES DO YOU TAKE PART IN?

None yet but i'm interested in Agility, Showing, Grooming & Handling. I am hoping to participate in some events when my dog is older.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A YKC MEMBER?

About two months, so not long.

HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU OWN?

I have one lovely Old English Sheepdog named Bloo Boy! He's the best dog ever!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT DOGS?

The way they lick your face, nibble & chew on your arms and how they welcome you home everytime you come back from somewhere. Dogs are so loving & I love that about them.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE YKC?

I think my favourite thing would be that you can check up on events in the area that you can participate in.

DO YOU HAVE ANY WORDS OF ADVICE FOR YKC MEMBERS NEW TO THE WORLD OF DOGS?

Yes, I have only recently got a puppy & he is my first ever dog! My advice is to always stay focused & to always believe in your dog. Dogs love to please their owners & show off. Stick with training & handling & soon it should be 100%.

CAN YOU SHARE A FAVOURITE / FUNNY MEMORY OF YOUR DOG?

Oh yes, I have plenty! Last week I bought a blow up paddling pool as my puppy loves water. I blew it up & put it on the grass, let him out & within two minutes he had dived into it & popped all three rings! I have photos of the pool before & after!

HOW HAS YOUR DOG MADE A DIFFERENCE TO YOU OR YOUR FAMILY LIFE?

My dog has made a huge difference to our lives. He is so much work because he is only young but we love him to pieces & would not change him for the world! It's made me more confident due to going to training classes etc

WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR DOG?

The nearby park, he loves to play in the park with the other dogs.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD?

I look forward to a fun filled journey with the Young Kennel Club & as soon as Bloo is old enough I will start entering some shows!
