Mainly Labradors. Occasionally I have shown/worked a few other breeds.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT DOGS?

The enjoyment they bring when being with them.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT IN THE YKC?

National camps and competing in various finals at Crufts, including Triathlon, Agility, Obedience.  Also, having the chance to attend Outward Bound.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE YKC?

The friends that you make and the opportunities to learn and try different activities.

DO YOU HAVE ANY WORDS OF ADVICE FOR YKC MEMBERS NEW TO THE WORLD OF DOGS?

Always look on the positive side when training and competing.

CAN YOU SHARE A FAVOURITE / FUNNY MEMORY OF YOUR DOG!

There are too many!!  But my favourite moments with my dogs are the many successes which I have had with them.

HOW HAS YOUR DOG MADE A DIFFERENCE TO YOU OR YOUR FAMILY LIFE?

My whole life involves the dogs, most weekends I am out competing with them at a show somewhere in the UK and weekday evenings I am usually training them.

WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR DOG?

I enjoy taking them for walks in the woods or when I get the chance, to the beach!

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD?

I have been a Senior member on the YKC committee for the past five years, which has been a valuable and enjoyable experience. I also enjoy Judging Labradors and Handling, as well as helping my mum who is the show secretary for a breed club and runs three shows a year.
