I have been a YKC member since Spring 2010

I own one Golden Retriever bitch called Nessie (DOB 16.02.10)

WHAT BREEDS HAVE YOU SHOWN/COMPETED WITH IN YOUR DISCIPLINE(S)?

Currently I only compete with Nessie but next year I plan to compete with some Newfoundlands

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT DOGS?

That dogs make you smile and no matter what they always love you

Meeting new friends and the opportunity to learn new things

CAN YOU SHARE A FAVOURITE / FUNNY MEMORY OF YOUR DOG?

I was preparing Nessie for her first show and she was being very well behaved and stood very nicely in her show position and was running quite well so I was sure that she was going to behave very well at the show, unfortunately Nessie decided to 'chill out' at the show and wouldn't listen to me at all, instead of standing in her show position she lay down and nobody could make her stand again so as the Judge couldn't see her, we were asked to leave the ring! It wasn't easy as Nessie was still lying down and I had to pull her through the grass so everyone was laughing!

Thankfully at the second show she behaved very well, now it doesn't matter where we are , it could be the park, busy street or our ringcraft class, she always listens to me

WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR DOG?

Fields and meadows as my dog has a lot of space to run and it's a great place for me to teach her how to retrieve

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD?

Joining the YKC was one of the best things that i've done in my life!!
