HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU OWN?

We have two Border Terriers, one is my sisters (Cerbora Special Fortuna) & her puppy, Bramble, belongs to me (Mongrubah Bramble Ruby).

WHAT BREEDS HAVE YOU SHOWN/COMPETED WITH IN YOUR DISCIPLINE(S)?

I compete in fun dog shows & sometimes take part in Agility with my sister's dog as Bramble isn't old enough to do Agility yet! She is a really nice looking puppy & has won over twenty rosettes although she is not even a year old.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT DOGS?

I love dogs because they don't judge you. I am profoundly deaf because I caught a virus when I was younger, but dogs will care for you if you are blind, deaf or disabled because they love you for who you are.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT IN THE YKC?

Winning 1st place in the YKC Artist of the Year, Kids Section 2010! As Bramble is so young, he hasn't been to any YKC events....yet!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE YKC?

They are always friendly & kind.

DO YOU HAVE ANY WORDS OF ADVICE FOR YKC MEMBERS NEW TO THE WORLD OF DOGS?

Remember to let your dog know how much you love them all the time!

CAN YOU SHARE A FAVOURITE / FUNNY MEMORY OF YOUR DOG?

Bramble is so crazy & one time she ran into a tree whilst playing with her sister in the garden & hurt her eye, we took her to the vet & she said that if she was okay through the night she would have to have an eye specialist to come & look at her & have a brain scan. I was really scared & frightened all night & couldn't sleep, but, when I woke up, she was completely fine & acted normal. It wasn't a funny or favourite memory but it was really scary & it made me so happy that she was okay.

HOW HAS YOUR DOG MADE A DIFFERENCE TO YOU OR YOUR FAMILY LIFE?

They definitely have. Our house has Border Terrier calendars, mugs, doormats, paintings, statues & my sister's room even has them painted on the walls!

WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR DOG?

Probably the beach as they love to swim!

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD?

Always listen to your dog. If she doesn't want to play or do tricks it probably means there is something wrong & it is really important that you find out what it is!
