To get you started off in all things canine you will receive a fantastic membership folder crammed full of useful information along with your very own personalised certificate and membership badge unique to your age group.

With the chance to train at our Activity Weekends & National Camp ,whatever your level, the YKC is the best place to start. Then, once you are ready to start competing there are competitions in each discipline throughout the year for YKC members to try and qualify for the Finals in the YKC ring at DFS Crufts.

Members also receive our fantastic magazine, Fetch, during the year which keeps them up to date on everything going on in the YKC plus info on all the activities, doggy days out and canine seminars you can take part in.

On top of all of that YKC members also gain FREE access to Discover Dogs and a DFS Crufts season ticket (RRP £46.00), which means you can visit the show on as many days as you like and enjoy all of the terrific dog activities and displays for no extra cost.

What's included in my membership pack?

Membership Certificate
This membership certificate will contain details of your YKC membership for you to frame, together with your YKC membership number to use when entering YKC classes and events held throughout the year.

Membership Pack
On application to the YKC, members will receive their very own membership pack, customised to their age range, and filled with all of the information required to become involved in all things canine.

Membership Badge
YKC members are entitled to a membership badge to identify you as a member.

Fetch, the YKC magazine
'Fetch', the YKC newsletter is published four times a year and will provide you information on latest developments regarding the YKC, forthcoming events and competitions, the opportunity to win prizes and news from the Kennel Club.

Beginner's Guides to YKC Classes
Each pack will contain a beginner's guide to the following YKC disciplines:
• Handling
• Agility
• Obedience
• Flyball
• Stakes
• Heelwork to Music
These contain vital information that will help newcomers get started in the canine world.

YKC Events Listing
The YKC holds events throughout the calendar year in order for members to train and compete, with the chance of qualifying for Crufts. Each folder contains the event listings along with details of how to go about entering.

DFS Crufts Tickets
All YKC members can gain FREE entry to DFS Crufts. All paid up members will be sent a season ticket request form that gains them access to the show over the four days in March.

Discover Dogs Entry
All YKC members can gain FREE entry to this doggy extravaganza held each year in November at Earls Court 2, London.
