Are you a Young Kennel Club Member filled with great ideas? Could you design a front cover for the YKC Crufts Catalogue 2018? Entries open in September so it is time to get drawing and you could be in with a chance to win some great prizes!
This year the YKC launched our very own Crufts Catalogue which showcased all the YKC Crufts competitors who competed in the YKC Ring. We asked you to design the front cover and the winning YKC member was Samantha Webster from Northfield Birmingham. Samantha’s drawing was featured on the cover of the catalogue this year.
The competition opens in September to create the new cover for the YKC Crufts Catalogue 2018. The theme for the cover will be:
HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE THE REST - A DOG PORTRAIT.
In this theme the dog/s should be the main subject in your design. Your picture can show part of the dog such as just the head or the entire body of the dog standing, sitting or lying down. Your picture can also show more than one dog, in a group picture.
Your design entry will need to be A4 in size and the layout must be portrait. A range of materials can be used, including drawing (e.g. pencil, pen) painting, printmaking. You do not need to add titles or wording to your design.Join the YKC today!
