Getting Started

For the safety of your dog, dogs must be 18 months or over before they can start competing in Flyball. Your dog does not have to be a pedigree dog to take part, but it must be registered with the Kennel Club to take part in any Young Kennel Club events. Is Flyball the activity for you?

Competing

The dogs in the flyball team take it in turns to jump over hurdles, press a pedal on a box to release a tennis ball which the dog must hold in his mouth and return over the hurdles to the start line for the next dog to race. The first team to have it's fourth dog across the finish line wins!
