NAME:Charlotte Page
Pymoor, Cambridgeshire
Breed Classes, Handling & Stakes
About four or five years
I own twelve dogs & have shown all of them apart from one who doesn't show
I have had the odd different breed but I have stuck with Dalmatians, Beagles & Miniature Schnauzers really
The fact that they are always there for you, no matter what day it is
Winning the Handling on my first ever time at Crufts then also winning it the second year running, along with winning the YKC Stakes at Crufts twice & being placed throughout.
Another memorable moment is that I have qualified five
dogs for the YKC Stakes finals in both 2010 & 2011!
You are with people your own age & you get to make so many new friends!
It's a great way to make friends & meet new people with the same interests as you & it also builds up your confidence as a person
I have so many good memories with my dogs, I couldn't choose just one memory.
We started off with one Dalmatian & now we have a house full! They have taken over our family & every room you walk into has some sort of rosette, trophy or picture of them.
It's hard to think what life would be like if we didn't get Purdy, our first Dalmatian
Apart from Shows, long walks along the bank in the Summer
Nothing is impossible, all you have to do is believe!
Along with taking part in the YKC & Breed classes I also Judge on the C list for Dalmatians & Miniature Schnauzers along with Judging the junior & adult handlers. I have, for the past couple of years, been a steward at many Shows including Crufts 2010 & 2011
