Welcome to the Young Kennel Club

After much anticipation, Camp 2010, has finally arrived! We do our best to keep you busy from the minute you wake up each day until the moment you go to bed. Each day includes four training sessions so you get to spend lots of time working with your dogs, team time to give your dogs a break in the midday sun and then the all important social evening, when everyone can get together and join in the fun!

Are you thinking of entering a YKC grooming heat but would like some expert advice beforehand?

Would you like to begin a career in grooming and would benefit from some professional guidance?

If you can answer yes to any of these questions then this is the event for you. The YKC Grooming Masterclass is the first of its kind aimed at YKC members to give you the opportunity to learn more about grooming. Not only is it a chance to learn new skills so that you can apply these to grooming your own dog but also to have a greater understanding of grooming as a profession. Discover Dogs 2010, organised by the Kennel Club, will be returning to Earls Court 1 on 13 and 14 November. Sponsored by Royal Canin, the event is now in its 15th year and is the biggest dog event in London, welcoming over 26,000 visitors and 3,000 dogs over the two days of the show.

The event provides a fantastic and unique opportunity for visitors to meet, greet and discover over 200 different breeds of dog. Key themes for the show are education and fun.
